Day 41 Nova Scotia

Folks here seem to make a habit of websites that are not up-to-date! During our last stop here we accomplished the impossible and got lost in Truro, partly because two different versions of the website for the campground offered two different addresses! This morning we needed a few parts for the trailer to properly fix the things that went wrong recently. Checking the website, we learned that the Leisure Days that we passed on the way in opened at 9:00 am. Apparently, not so! While in the parking lot we called the number (and it rang through an outside speaker system – hilarious!) but couldn’t find any information. We checked the web again and found a second site (again, really??) that said they were open at noon. Once again, apparently not! Honestly people, if you are going to bother with a website, bother to keep it up-to-date! Oh well, we’ll survive!

On to Milford to have a visit with the NS family! The whole NS gang was there today including Ava and John, our twin grandniece and grandnephew! They are so cute and we found ourselves wondering what we looked at or talked about before these adorable little peanuts came along! Our afternoon, dinner meal and evening passed in a relaxed and pleasant visit.

Back at the trailer we discovered we have TV reception and we turned it on for the first time since we left Ontario six weeks ago! I’m not a big TV fan, but a little Olympic competition isn’t a bad way to end a day!

...and now enjoying Ava and John!

John tuckered out for the ride home to Halifax, Ava still bright eyed and bushy tailed!
